This painting was my very first in this style. I wanted to paint an image that reminded me of the docks where I spent a lot of my youth. My dad worked as a mechanic and there was always plenty going on as people went about their business. I'd play, fish, jump on and off of boats, find things to do and explore for hours until my dad would give his distinctive ear splitting whistle that was heard across the dock, I then knew to was time to go home.
